Donations to Help Other Students

Many of you can resonate with the notion of the impossibility of success in a physics class without a scientific calculator. The students of Ms. Kemal’s 12th grade physics class face this adversity every day. Kemal, an alumna of UF, teaches in Memphis, TN with Teach for America at an underprivileged high school. The Health Outreach and Education committee urges you to donate through Kemal’s website.

These students "are aspiring engineers, politicians, artists, doctors, musicians, and more. Their dreams are limitless and every day I feel honored for the opportunity to not only teach these students, but learn from them as well," states Kemal on her website. "Their concerns are that they have not yet been provided the environment where their creativity and curiosity can flourish."

We as collegiate students have been given a priceless opportunity. Her students have the potential to make our reality their own, with a little help. DonorsChoose.com accepts any amount by 10/29, and Ms. Kemal class will be grateful for anything. Please click on this link to make a donation!
