“It’s been such a long run. I will be so satisfied to see the final product.” says Spencer del Moral, director.
The Light the Night walk is a fun event with many activities. Before the event at 5:30 p.m. there will be a memorial service for those who have passed from cancer. Then starting at 6 p.m. the will be a radio station there to keep children occupied and entertained. There will be dance numbers too. Albert and Alberta will even make an appearance. Each year there are banner signed for survivals, those battling and to honor those who have lost their battle. Then at 7:30 p.m. the balloon lights will be turned on and the sky will light up in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
“Everything we’ve been working for since summer is finally going to all come together,” says Caroline Kim, director.
